1. About this policy

Sigma Tech Communications LLC ("Sigma Tech", "we", "our") operates Sigma SNS, a mobile-first service that helps small businesses generate social media captions and prepare posts for Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

3. Information we collect

Account information— your phone number, display name, and the business account ("tenant") you belong to.

Content you upload — photos, videos, captions, hashtags, and settings you provide to help us generate or prepare posts.

AI usage data — the prompts and photos we send to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate captions, along with token usage counters used for billing.

Connected social accounts — when you connect an Instagram or Facebook account to Sigma SNS for automatic publishing, we receive an OAuth access token and identifiers for the accounts and pages you explicitly authorize. We never receive your password.

Usage and technical data — login timestamps, post counts, IP address for security, and the browser or device type you used. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

4. How we use your information

  • Authenticate you and keep your tenant account secure.
  • Generate captions, hashtags, and post drafts using AI.
  • Send your posts to Instagram or Facebook when you ask us to.
  • Track usage against your plan's monthly limits and produce invoices.
  • Communicate important service notices (outages, billing, policy changes).
  • Prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and improve Sigma SNS.

5. Service providers we share data with

We share only the minimum information necessary with vetted providers:
  • Anthropic, PBC — to generate AI captions (photo data + your prompts are sent to the Claude API).
  • Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS) — cloud hosting and storage in the United States.
  • Meta Platforms, Inc. — if you connect Instagram or Facebook, your posts and metadata are sent to Meta per the choices you make in Sigma SNS.
  • Stripe, Inc. — payment processing for your subscription.
  • SMS verification providers — to send one-time codes when you log in with your phone number.

We do not sell your personal data or the content you upload. We do not share your data with advertisers.

6. How long we keep data

  • Account data — kept for as long as your account is active.
  • Media and drafts — photos retain their full size for up to 30 days after publishing; a reduced thumbnail is kept for the life of the account so your history renders.
  • Published post records — retained while your account is active for your post history.
  • Account deletion — when you request deletion we remove your account and associated content within 30 days, except where we are required by law to keep records (for example, billing documents for tax purposes).

7. Your choices

  • Access and export your content at any time from the dashboard.
  • Disconnect your Instagram or Facebook account from Sigma SNS at any time.
  • Delete your account by emailing info@sigmatechcomm.com.
  • Opt out of non-essential communications via the link in our emails.

8. Children

Sigma SNS is intended for business owners and their authorized staff. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Security

We use TLS for data in transit and encryption at rest for sensitive stored data (including social account access tokens). Access tokens are stored encrypted and used only when you invoke an action that requires them.

10. International users

Sigma SNS is operated in the United States. If you access it from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our service evolves. Material changes will be announced through the Sigma SNS app or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
